Platform Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 1 February 2026
1. Definitions

In these Terms:

 

AU Bridge, we, us, our means AU Bridge Pty Ltd (ACN 674 639 313).

 

You, User, Payer means the business or entity using AU Bridge to pay invoices.

 

Invoice means a request for payment issued to you by a supplier, which you submit to AU Bridge for processing.

 

Eligible Payment means a payment submitted through AU Bridge in accordance with these Terms.

 

Processing Costs / Fees means the fees charged by AU Bridge for facilitating a payment, as agreed at the time of the transaction.

 

International Payment means a payment instruction submitted through the Services that involves payment to a recipient outside Australia and/or a currency conversion.

 

International Payment Instruction means the payment details and related information submitted by you to AU Bridge in respect of an International Payment.

 

FX Provider means any third-party foreign exchange or payment service provider engaged by AU Bridge to facilitate currency conversion and settlement of an International Payment.

Section 2
2. Our Services

2.1.    Invoice Payments: AU Bridge allows you to submit an Invoice for payment. Once we receive your funds, we will process the Invoice and pay the nominated recipient, either domestically or cross-border.

2.2.    Payment Methods: You may fund your payment using your preferred payment method (e.g., credit card, bank transfer).AU Bridge may, at its discretion, limit or refuse any payment method.

​

2.3.    Timing of Payments: Payments are processed once funds are received and verified. AU Bridge will make reasonable efforts to pay the Invoice promptly, but we do not guarantee a specific payment time.

​

2.4.    Eligible Payments: Only payments that are complete, cleared, and compliant with these Terms are treated as Eligible Payments. Payments that are disputed, reversed, or subject to a chargeback are not Eligible Payments.
 

Section 3
3. User Obligations

3.1.    Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and complete information when submitting Invoices and payment instructions. You must notify AU Bridge immediately of any errors.

3.2.    KYC / Compliance: You must provide all information required for identity verification and regulatory compliance. AU Bridge may suspend or refuse to process payments if compliance requirements are not met.

3.3.    Prohibited Use: You must not use AU Bridge to make payments for any Illegal activity, gambling, or sanctioned entities; or any purpose that breaches laws or regulatory requirements.
 

Section 4
4. Fees and Processing Authorisation

4.1.    Processing Costs: AU Bridge charges a fee for processing each payment. Fees are included in the total amount charged to your selected payment method.

4.2.    Changes to Fees: AU Bridge may vary fees at its discretion. Any changes will be notified on the platform before you submit payments.

4.3.    User Acknowledgement and Acceptance

By submitting a payment through AU Bridge, you acknowledge, agree, and confirm on behalf of your business that:

  • Processing Fees: All fees and processing costs charged by AU Bridge are non-refundable.

  • Risk of Supplier Non-Performance: You accept all risk relating to the non-performance, failure, or non-delivery of goods or services by the supplier (“Payee”) in connection with the payment.

  • No Chargebacks: You, as the cardholder or payer, will not seek a credit card chargeback in respect of any payment processed through AU Bridge.

  • Confirmation of Delivery/Services: You confirm that the supplier has shipped the goods and/or delivered the services, and that you approve the payment.

  • Statement Description: You understand that the payment will appear on your card or bank statement as “AU Bridge” or a related description provided by AU Bridge.

  • Binding Acknowledgement: By ticking the acceptance checkbox when submitting the payment, you confirm that you understand and accept these conditions on behalf of your business.
     

Section 5
5. Cross-Border Payments and Foreign Exchange

5.1.    International Payments and FX Services: Where you submit an International Payment Instruction that involves a currency conversion, AU Bridge may use a third-party foreign exchange service provider (“FX Provider”) to facilitate the foreign exchange and settlement of the payment. AU Bridge does not itself provide foreign currency exchange services unless expressly stated.

5.2.    Exchange Rate and Conversion Amount Display: Prior to confirming an International Payment, the FX spot rate and total converted amount to be paid will be displayed to you. By confirming the payment, you acknowledge and accept the displayed rate and amount.

5.3.    Third-Party Provider Terms and Obligations

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AU Bridge refers you to the FX Provider, and you may be required to accept the FX Provider’s terms and conditions;

  • (AU Bridge is not responsible for the operation, performance, or availability of the FX Provider’s services or systems; and

  • the FX Provider determines the exchange rate, fees, and timing for the foreign exchange component of an International Payment.

5.4.    No Guarantee of FX Rates or Timing

International payments involving currency conversion are subject to exchange rates and settlement practices outside AU Bridge’s control.

You agree that AU Bridge does not guarantee any particular rate or timing, and is not liable for:

  • fluctuations in exchange rates after you confirm a payment;

  • differences between displayed and actual settlement rates; or

  • fees or charges imposed by the FX Provider or intermediary banks.

Section 6
6. Funds and Payment Processing

6.1.    Receipt of Funds: AU Bridge must receive cleared funds before processing any Invoice. We do not hold funds for indefinite periods; any funds pending verification may be returned if compliance requirements are not met.

6.2.    Payment to Recipient: AU Bridge will pay the recipient nominated on the Invoice, either domestically or cross-border, in accordance with applicable banking rules. AU Bridge is not responsible for recipient bank delays or errors outside our control.

6.3.    No Chargebacks via Platform: Once payment is processed, the User cannot request a chargeback through AU Bridge.
 

Section 7
7. Liability

7.1.    General Disclaimer: AU Bridge acts only as a facilitator of payments. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including delays, errors, or failed payments.

7.2.    User Responsibility: You are responsible for verifying the Invoice details, recipient details, and amount. You indemnify AU Bridge against any claims arising from incorrect or fraudulent instructions.
 

Section 8
8.  Privacy and Data

8.1.    Collection of Personal Information: We collect and use your personal and business information to provide the Services, comply with KYC/AML obligations, and for account management.

8.2.    Data Handling: AU Bridge handles data in accordance with the AU Bridge Privacy Policy (aubridge.com.au/privacy-policy) and applicable law.

Section 8
9.  Termination

9.1.    AU Bridge may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you breach these Terms.

9.2.    You may terminate your account at any time, subject to completing all pending payments.

Section 9
10. Governing Law

10.1.    These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
